Digital Marketing Strategist   


We are seeking a talented and driven Digital Marketing Strategist to be a motivated owner of growing our clients' businesses while helping to shape our Digital Marketing department. As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will develop and implement campaigns across key digital marketing channels such as paid search, paid social, and email to help our clients reach long-term business goals and maximize ROI.

 

Our ideal candidate understands both the power of creative (copy and visual design) as well as the data driven nature of digital marketing. You are equally comfortable ideating compelling campaign creative and analyzing data to find opportunities, draw key learnings, and propose strategic recommendations.

 

You have experience creating and running campaigns across one or more channels within the digital marketing landscape including: SEO, SEM, affiliate, display, paid social, and/or email. You have successfully guided campaign tactics to drive results against KPIs.

 

As Digital Marketing Strategist, you are joining an experienced, first-class ecommerce agency with strong capabilities across design, user experience, technology, marketing, and client success. You will have visibility into what drives e-commerce success from a variety of angles and will actively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to position brands for growth.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

      Establish, execute, and measure digital marketing campaigns across paid social, paid search, display and email for agency clients including media planning / budgeting and overseeing buys; creating, analyzing and optimizing campaigns; reporting on results and recommending adjustments to maximize performance.

      Continually improve your knowledge of platforms, technologies, best-practices, trends, strategies, and tactics.

      Generate thoughtful, creative, effective, competitive solutions to our clients' digital marketing needs.

      Collaborate across the agency to ensure that digital marketing plans align with all client initiatives (business, creative, and technical).

      Constantly review client analytics across all platforms to uncover insights and make improvements.

      Consult with clients as an expert on digital marketing initiatives.

 

Qualifications

 

      1-2 years of experience in digital marketing as a strategist, manager, or analyst

      Demonstrated experience planning, designing, and executing successful digital marketing campaigns across one or more channels.

      Ability to understand patterns and draw conclusions from data.

      Ability to understand brand "personality" and storytelling.

      Ability to create client-facing reports, summaries, and presentations.

      Understanding of ecommerce and digital marketing technology.

      Experience with ecommerce platforms and software (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, Commerce tools) a strong plus.

      Experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and/or Facebook Ads Manager a strong plus.

      Experience with email service provider / CRM software (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Ometria) a strong plus.

      Excellent verbal and written skills.

      Self-starter mentality.

      Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
