Job Description:


At a high level: we build the entire digital ecosystem for high profile consumer brands taking them from site launch to massive growth — and we need a talented SEO expert to take our growing SEO practice from version 1.0 to version 2.0.


As a Senior SEO Manager, you take our existing business from start up mode to full fledged practice, integrated with our broader team across site design build, ongoing site development, paid marketing and email.


This is an incredible opportunity to own and build an SEO business within a highly successful agency with top tier clients. 


Day to day you will analyze, develop, and execute SEO strategies that yield tangible results for clients. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients in beauty and fashion, as well as collaborate with a talented, creative and high achieving in-house team of developers, SEO specialists, and copywriters.


Day to day, you’ll be responsible for:

Leadership

  • SEO Business Manager: Lead well rounded SEO practice that includes client retainers for SEO for new website design-build, technical SEO, and content

  • SEO Business Leader: Run the day to day execution of the function profitably including but not limited to people management, technology integration, process development, and reporting; Proactively identify opportunities to grow client accounts - both new and existing.

  • SEO Strategy: Develop and implement scalable SEO strategies aligned with client goals and continuously optimize those strategies based on industry trends, algorithm updates, and performance metrics

  • Account Strategy & Management: Communicate directly with clients to set and execute SEO priorities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis; Deliver reports on SEO results on monthly basis

  • SEO Trends: Keep up to date on the latest SEO best practices, strategies, and algorithm updates and implement innovative approaches to stay ahead of the competition and evolve with the changing organic search landscape; Lead practice in exploring and implementing emerging technologies related to SEO, including AI

Execution

  • Keyword Research and Guidance: Conduct thorough keyword research, outline and prioritize keyword opportunities and integrate targeted keywords effectively

  • Testing (D&B, Managed Service, & Content): Develop SEO A/B tests and other test strategies to ensure positive impact on traffic, revenue, keyword positioning and other KPIs.

  • Technical SEO Oversight: Address technical SEO issues, stay informed about the latest developments in technical SEO, and implement best practices.

  • Optimization of Website Content and Paid Search: Optimize website content, landing pages, and copy for improved search engine visibility; Work with the paid search team to align SEO strategies with paid campaigns.

  • Data Collection and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics, traffic, rankings, and other KPIs; use data insights to refine SEO strategies.

  • Collaborate with Internal team: work with internal service leaders to execute roadmap initiatives to safeguard and grow organic traffic and to maximize impact of end to end digital objectives and campaigns.

This job is for you if you have..

  • Minimum of 4 years of SEO experience, preferably in an agency setting

  • Minimum of 2+ years experience with Shopify

  • Deep understanding of how search engines crawl, render, index, and rank web pages

  • Track record of quantifiable SEO results in past work experiences

  • Exceptional knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console and relevant SEO tools such as LookerStudio, Screaming Frog, Rank Tracking tools or comparable 

  • A solid understanding of UX best practices and ranking factor

  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Client facing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills
